Disability refers to any temporary cessation of professional activity due to the complete (100%) inability of the insured person to perform their usual work as a result of illness or accident. This inability must be confirmed by a doctor based in Switzerland. Additionally, the insurer may request that the insured person undergo an examination by an independent doctor to confirm the disability.
