    Frequently asked questions

    • How can I apply for a loan?

Our motto is: simple and fast. Accordingly, you can place your application directly on our website by following this link https://www.cashare.ch/en/personal_loan.html. First, choose your loan amount and term. Next we will need some information on your borrowing capacity and information for your auction. Your borrowing capacity is then automatically assessed. If it does not succeed, you have the chance to lower the requested amount or prolong the repayment period. If the check succeeds, then you simply need to send us the application with a simple click and we will take care of the rest. Please also make sure to confirm your Email address. We will send you an Email for that purpose, simply click on the button "activate account" in the Email.

    • Why do I need to personally identify myself

The personal identification creates a high level of safety for all parties involved and satisfies the legal requirements of the money laundering act.

    • How can I personally identify myself?

For your personal identification you have the following 2 possibilities:

      1. You can transfer CHF 5.00 from your own bank account to the account of Cashare. (Please use the account information provided below. Do not use any reference number and execute the payment from your e-banking. A payment at the counter via payment slip cannot be accepted for a personal identification.)

      2. Visit a postal office with your ID-Card, your passport or residency permit. The postal employees will perform a "yellow identification" (https://www.post.ch/en/business- solutions/identification/yellow-identification), make a copy of your ID and confirm the validity (non-recuring cost of the Post CHF 25.00). Many municipalities, SBB Change /Western Union, notaries and mobilezone shops also offer this service. Please send the original of the certified copy to cashare.

    • How much is the platform fee?

The platform fee is 0.75 % of the outstanding loan amount according to the annuity. Further avoidable fees can be found in our fee schedule: https://www.cashare.ch/en/borrower_fees.html.

    • What are the costs associated with a loan application?

The loan application is free of charge. Only after the loan has been financed the fee of 0.75% p.a. is due. The minimum fee for private loans is CHF 75.00

    • Where can I upload the necessary documents?

You can upload the documents here: https://www.cashare.ch/en/mycashare/document. There you can also see, if the sent documents have already been accepted.

    • What happens in case of late payment of an instalment?

In case of late payment the dunning process (pre-legal collection) starts immediately. The dunning process as well as the legal collection process i.e. the foreclosure are initiated and managed by Cashare.

Reminders and warnings are sent according to the following schedule:
      Payment reminder after 5 days
      1. Warning after 10 days
      2. Warning after 20 days
      3. Final warning after 30 days

Between the second and the third warning we try to get in contact with the loanee and try to solve the problem directly. It can happen, especially for the payment of the first installment, that not everything is clear to the borrower or that the standing order has simply been forgotten. Most of the time things are cleared up after the first payment and the installments are paid on time. As soon as the final warning is sent you are informed about our next steps. The final warning usually has a payment term of 10 days. If no payment is made during that time the legal collection process (foreclosure) is initiated.
